My Story

Over the past 13+ years, I've built digital products for large companies (ESPN), for other others via my studio, and for myself as a founder. Here are some of the highlights:

 —

Early Career: Sports & Data [2008-2010]

My product career started with a role that was neither product management nor in tech; it started with a love of Sports Data. At Tufts University I took a Business of Sports class taught by Jan Volk, former General Manager of the Boston Celtics. I was also fortunate to attend one of the first incarnations of the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, which got me thinking about how to apply analytics models to my favorite sport, hockey. My first data role was at a hockey representation agency, where I conducted data analysis and created player evaluation formulas for upcoming NHL free agents. As the resident young person, I worked with players on social media analytics and content.

Launching the WatchESPN app [2010-2013]

As a Content Analyst in the Programming department, I was part of the launch team of the WatchESPN app, originally known as ESPN Everywhere. In addition to working on WatchESPN, I was an analyst for sports collections and media properties, such as the NBA, WNBA, College Basketball, Big Fights Boxing, KHL, E:60, and ESPN Films. I even wrote 2 articles for ESPN.com.

OnePlayce, Founder [2013-2017]

I left ESPN to co-found OnePlayce with Thomas Harris from Nike. OnePlayce was an early micro-endorsement marketplace that matched professional athletes with brands for regional campaigns. I led Product Management for OnePlayce, including development of the mobile app, web app, and data science suite.

Remedy Product Studio [2017-present]

As part of OnePlayce's acquisition by Remedy Product Studio, I joined as Head of Product. I have grown Remedy to 110 teammates, including 12 product managers and 10 UX/UI designers located in the US, Europe, and Latin America. My team has built products with HealthReveal, H1 Insights, Wave Neuro, Sommsation, and Caraway Health. I currently focus on Product Strategy, agile lean development, and investments.

Product Mentorship

Over the years I have advised companies on product management independently and through structured programs. I have worked with WeWork, Techstars, CornellTech, Cornell’s BioVenture eLab, and the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts University to help companies build products. I enjoy working with companies on product roadmapping, user research, and agile development.
